Singles sailing weekends is a revolutionary new concept soon to be launched for the 2004 season by Personally Tailored Yacht Charters. It's a cross between Speed Dating and an activity weekend, which aims to attract like-minded individuals who enjoy excitement and having a good laugh.

Singles sailing allows single people between the ages of 20 to 40 the opportunity to spend a weekend on board one of our yachts experiencing the thrills and spills of sailing on the Solent, whilst at the same time trying out your latest chat up lines.

The weekend starts on Friday evening with an informal drink and a chance to check out the talent in a friendly pub close to the Marina. Our skippers are fantastic at ice breaking conversations as the crews do not know one another, this gives the confidence a great boost and by the end you all will be chatting away like you have known each other for years!

With one boat for the boys and one boat for the girls you will spend the day on Saturday getting to know you fellow "blind daters" whilst trying your hand at sailing. Lunch and refreshments are provided for you on board, and late afternoon will see both boats heading to one of the marinas for an overnight mooring. Once you have washed your hair and got into your glad rags it's time to meet up with the other boat and its off to a restaurant for a pre-arranged meal, and then out on the town to savour the local night life where you can or strut your stuff and impress or continue where you left off after leaving the pub on Friday night!!

Singles sailing is the fun new way of meeting new people included in the weekend is the yacht, (Accommodation) a skipper, all mooring fees, gas, fuel, and snacking food wine and beer. For Friday evening the local pub does fantastic food at value for money prices. On the Saturday evening a crew meal for all of the yachts is arranged at a restaurant with a set menu choice this varies between £15 and £25 per head plus drinks.
