she will only be arriveing in the country in February 2005 and be available for
charter from March 2005.
A fantastic new model from Bavaria, the
46 is a superb sailing yacht with an exceptionally high standard of comfort and
sailing ability. We are extremely proud to be able to add 3 brand new Bavaria
46s to our yacht fleet, available for charter in the New Year.
As substantially sized yachts, with an excellent layout below decks, there
is a very spacious feel to the interior, giving the cabins a luxurious layout.
She will sleep ten in 4 spacious double cabins sleeping 2 in the large saloon
area, and is able to take twelve on a day sail. With a large hot water capacity
and two onboard showers, you can have all the facilities at sea that you are used
to on land. Entertaining will also be a pleasure in the fully equipped galley
with all mod cons and a large, social dining area in the saloon.
The new Bavaria 46 also excels when it comes to sailing, with her deep lead keel
and large sail area, she is the height of stability and manoeuvrability. She is
equally as ideal for hopping across to France or the Channel Islands as she is
for cruising in the Solent.
The Rig and Deck
With a roller-reefing headsail and single line-reefing mainsail, she is easy to
handle. All of the control lines are led aft to the cockpit through organisers
and separate jammers, which gives control without having to leave the cockpit.
All the winches are self-tailing throughout including secondary spinnaker winches.
On deck, she is as well thought out as below, with ample space for friends in
the cockpit and wide side decks for easy access to the bow.
